L.O.C. Method - The L.O.C. method is the chosen sequence for high porosity hair as it’s essential that the oil is used to seal the cuticles before adding the cream.

Layering the cream before the liquid could result in hygral fatigue. Hygral fatigue is when the cuticle experiences damage due to excessive swelling and contraction. This can lead to weaker hair strands over time.

In this case, by choosing the L.O.C. method vs the L.C.O. method, you allow oil to protect your high porosity hair from too much moisture entering the hair shaft.

You still need moisture to add softness to the outer layer of the hair strand, so creme is added as the final step.

Directions

Step 1. 

 

Apply Rio Mist Leave-in Conditioner to freshly washed hair, do not rinse out.

 

Step 2.

Apply High Porosity Hair Elixir  as a moisture sealant, styling, detangling, shine, scalp care, L.O.C, scrunch out the curl, pre-shampoo, hot oil treatment and frizz control.

 

Step 3.

Apply Combing Crème to freshly washed hair. Section hair into 4-6 sections.  Apply a small amount of Combing Crème and apply to hair row by row, raking (shingling) the product through hair from root to tip. Start from the back sections and move to the front. Let hair air dry or use a diffuser.
